Grays Harbor Fire District #10 - Wishkah Fire Department is a Rural Volunteer Fire Department established in 1965.
The fire department covers the areas north of the Cities of Aberdeen and Hoquiam along the Wishkah and the East Hoquiam Roads also including Junction City and East Wishkah totaling 70 square miles, also known as Grays Harbor Fire District #10.
The district has three Stations that are located in the most populated areas of the fire district.
We are dispatched through Grays Harbor Communications Center.
The district maintains contracts with the Cities of Aberdeen and Hoquiam for Advanced Life Support Ambulance services covering all of our emergency medical calls.
We also have agreements with several surrounding fire districts, along with Aberdeen and Hoquiam for mutual aid for large structure fires.
We are governed by a three member Board of Fire Commissioners elected by the community for a 6 year term, they represent the community we serve.
